How and why the 5 senses are incorporated in your hypnosis session
When accessing the subconscious mind for healing it’s important to have a basic understanding of how the subconscious mind works.
The subconscious mind is in charge of your beliefs, your habits, what you think and say as well as ultimately what you do. It stores information and memories and determines how you react physically and emotionally to stimuli.
Now that you have the basics down let’s talk about each sense and the methods associated with your session.

Aromatherapy - Smell
When you smell an odor it goes directly to your amygdala and hippocampus which are areas in the brain that play a major part in how you process emotion and memory.
I hand mix essential oils to create custom blends that help with restructuring and reprogramming your beliefs by creating a positive association with the knowledge of your brain's neural plasticity as the foundation of this method.

Tea Therapy - Taste
Tea has been used for ages for its health benefits but most people in the western world are unaware of how it benefits the mind.
I hand make an herbal blend that is the foundation for relaxation of the mind and body which releases serotonin, "the feel good neurochemical" in the brain to prepare you to receive hypnosis.

Hypnosis - Seeing
During hypnosis you will be asked to go back to scenes associated with the presenting problem. This form of seeing is with your inner eye which is mostly controlled by the medial prefontal cortex area of the brain which is in charge of self reflection.

Crystal Therapy - Touch
Selenite is a mineral used since ancient times for its ability to release energetic blockages, purify the auric field, promote clarity, peace and balance.
Sodium selenite has been applied in cancer studies with promising results making this stone most in alignment with the mind body bridge. It is also believed to be the most compatible stone for subconscious reframing and exploring the inner self.

Sound Therapy - Hearing
Scientific research shows that the use of singing bowls can activate the vagus nerve and stimulate brain wave synchronization to reduce anxiety, stress and promote relaxation.
